CORECO’s mission is to “Contribute to the peacebuilding processes, transformation of conflicts and the promotion of a Culture of Peace, towards Good Living”.
CORECO promotes training processes and positive conflict transformation training, facilitation of dialogue processes in conflicts, and accompany the process of community peacebuilders.
“Strengthening Women and Youth for Peacebuilding in Chiapas”, we support Indigenous women and youth in learning and participating in practices, traditions, and ceremonies of resilience and self-care of the Tseltal and Tsotsil peoples of Chiapas.
They will then share their experiences and participate in the generation of new knowledge and campaigns that promote the Culture of Peace in their communities.
In 2022 women who participate in the project value or revalue the traditional practices of their Ancestors as profound forms of healing and guidance in their life projects. At the same time, young participants will begin. to know and value the traditional practices of their Ancestors, encouraging them to build and promote messages of peace in their communities.
CORECO works to ensure women and youth recognize and value their Spirituality and traditional knowledge as essential to achieve and to build a more empathetic, supportive and collective construction of the Lekil Kuxlejal (Good Living).
