PAZESA Horticultural Community is a community based Indigenous Peoples organization striving to uplift the lives and livelihoods of the marginalized children, youth and women in remote hard-to reach rural areas of Zambia.
PAZESA focuses on empowering development activities, such as trainings, rather than hand-outs that create community dependency.
Their objectives include: improving the health and standard of living; facilitate year-round food security; conserve and protect the environment; and improve the human rights knowledge of the communities they serve.
PAZESA was a recipient of the GEF Small Grans Programme that supported sustainable agriculture and fisherman livelihoods.
